Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Powersports Industry. We are looking for a National Sales Manager to join their team.

Title: National Sales Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Internal Sales Team Management & Development
  • To provide sales leadership and network management through internal training on sales techniques and process implementation.
  • To direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
  • To build relationships at all levels, ensuring consistent communication between regional teams and information flow occurs between HQ and the Field Sales Team.
  • To help the team with further knowledge regarding sales processes within dealerships, Retail Sales Development, finance and inventory, and delivery processes, as well as support new Dealer Development.
  • To lead the delivery of short, medium, and long-term sales targets and to review forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • To review market analyses to determine customer needs and competitive threats to increase revenue and profitability in each sales rep’s territory
  • To develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate management goals, helping achieve the organizational goal.
  • To increase the company's market presence and share in fast-growing markets and promote its reputation for client satisfaction.
  • Administration and Management of Sales Efforts with Marketing to help create motivating sales campaigns to drive the achievement of our sales goals and work with the marketing team to continually develop relationships and ensure appropriate funding is spent on advertising and sales leads to have the most impact on sales and best represent the brand as well as the forward direction of the organization
  • To provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting reviews to VP of Sales.
  • Regularly collaborate with the VP of Sales and Chief Financial Officer on sales data and budgets.
  • To interface with the After Sales Manager and Customer Service Manager, where appropriate, adopting new strategies in areas based on obtained data analytics and feedback
  • To find ways to do things more efficiently, quickly, and identify and implement process improvements in the sales environment.

Requirements

  • College degree is preferred with focus in Sales or similar.
  • A successful track record with 3 years of direct sales management experience required.
  • Powersports Industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience as an outside sales representative is favored.
  • Must be able to multi-task, problem solve, and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficient with applications specific to Marketing and systems including Word and Excel.
  • Communication skills both verbal and written, listening and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Must successfully work individually and as part of a team positively and professionally.
