Our client is a global leader in plastic and aluminum design, manufacturing, and high-speed capping equipment/application systems. We are looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join their team.

Functions:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic will provide mechanical troubleshooting support to the production team. This individual will have previous experience in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment.   • Perform maintenance on plastics injection molding equipment.
  • Troubleshoot programmable controllers and equipment with CNC pneumatics and hydraulic controls.
  • Install wiring, make adjustments, and calibrates machines.
  • Working with voltages like 480V 3 phase
  • Removes, replaces, and/or repairs machinery.
  • Completes work orders in a timely manner.
  • Completes or assist in parts requisitions in maintenance system with correct part numbers and vendors. Responsible for parts inventory.
  • Ensures all safety and LOTO procedures are followed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and adheres to published standards while also performing PM inspections and properly complete required paperwork.
  • Test equipment to analyze function and overall performance.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Technical school in manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience in electrical, hydraulic, and overall mechanical maintenance. Preferably on plastic injection molding equipment.
  • Working knowledge of machine tools such as drill press, hose crimper, volt meters, amp meter, etc.
  • Written and verbal communication skills required to operate in a team environment.
  • Team player and team oriented.
