Every plant location had a high turnover rate and different recruitment methods. Home office had no policies in place to encourage referrals, internal promotions, and unify recruitment practices. Many hiring authorities conducted interviews differently even within the same plant location including one manager who conducted onsite tests whereas another would only conduct verbal interviews. Some locations had no policies telling them who had authority to hire, and the negative brand reputation discouraged applicants to call their recruitment team back.
