Get to Know the Genesis Industries Team

After graduating college from Texas A&M University, Trey found his home in Executive Search. Working in the industry, he sought to build a brand that recognizes the importance of building partnerships with both clients and candidates to establish trusting and long-lasting relationships. Out of this desire, Trey founded Genesis Resources - where he operates as the President/CEO to this day. However, he sought to build another organization, where recruitment could truly operate as a service instead of an exchange. Trey founded Genesis Industries in 2014 after many years of executive search, so he could finally give partners a recruitment service that is less transactional and more service-based.

"Building Genesis has been a group effort. I wouldn't be here without the outstanding people I get to work with every day, clients, candidates, and employees alike."

After working for a few different firms as either operations or recruiting, Yemi married the two roles and joined Genesis in 2013 as the Operations Manager. Her skills in management elevated her to Vice President of Operations in September 2018. Yemi takes on a variety of Operations projects in her new position and has helped Genesis further grow and develop.

"My favorite thing is the family atmosphere at Genesis. Everyone works together, supports each other, and learns from each other. I personally love learning from Trey and helping him grow Genesis to where he wants it to be."

Kaitlyn is the AVP, Practice Lead at Genesis Industries. After originally working for Genesis in 2013, she came back in April 2024 to help build Genesis Industries to its full potential. She is a TCU graduate and greatly enjoys helping the aerospace engineering industry.

" I enjoy working as AVP, Practice Lead on the Industries side of Genesis because I have been given the unique opportunity to expand the business into having an engineering recruiting practice. The autonomy is what I value the most, because I have control over my own success. Coming from the corporate world, that is not something that is offered."

Kahli began her career at Genesis Resources in 2018 after graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in Neuroscience. She started on the Project Recruitment Team then worked her way into becoming the Marketing Manager for all of Genesis.

"My favorite thing about being the Marketing Manager at Genesis is helping my fellow coworkers change the lives of others. Being able to help them achieve their goals through my efforts, whether it is making marketing presentations, or coming up with new ways to get our branding out there, it's amazing to be that support in the background and allow them and the company continue to grow."

Scott began his recruitment career at Genesis Industries in January 2023 after 20 years in the golf business. Scott specializes in recruiting highly skilled manufacturing personnel for our elite manufacturing clients.

"My favorite thing about being a recruiter at Genesis  is making new connections, learning more about the candidate, and helping them with the next phase of their career."

Jesus began his recruitment career when he joined the Project Recruitment Team at Genesis in 2021. On the Project Recruitment Team, he focuses on recruiting for a variety of manufacturing roles and clients. With his ability to speak both Spanish and English, Jesus is able to provide clients and candidates a more customized recruitment experience.

"My favorite thing about being a recruiter for the Industries Team is being able to talk to and help such a diverse group of people looking for better opportunities in the industry. Another thing I also enjoy is being able to learn what people look for in jobs so I can better help them."

Justin graduated from York University in 2017 and began a teaching career shortly after graduation. After changing young lives through teaching, Justin transitioned to changing professional lives through recruitment consulting when he joined Genesis in August, 2023. Currently, he's enjoying the impact he makes in recruiting for elite clients in both manufacturing and the powersports industry
