Get to Know the Genesis Industries Team

After graduating college from Texas A&M University, Trey found his home in Executive Search. Working in the industry, he sought to build a brand that recognizes the importance of building partnerships with both clients and candidates to establish trusting and long-lasting relationships. Out of this desire, Trey founded Genesis Resources - where he operates as the President/CEO to this day. However, he sought to build another organization, where recruitment could truly operate as a service instead of an exchange. Trey founded Genesis Industries in 2014 after many years of executive search, so he could finally give partners a recruitment service that is less transactional and more service-based.

After working for a few different firms as either operations or recruiting, Yemi married the two roles and joined Genesis in 2013 as the Operations Manager. Her skills in management elevated her to Vice President of Operations in September 2018. Yemi takes on a variety of Operations projects in her new position and has helped Genesis further grow and develop.

"My favorite thing is the family atmosphere at Genesis. Everyone works together, supports each other, and learns from each other. I personally love learning from Trey and helping him grow Genesis to where he wants it to be."

Kahli began her career at Genesis Resources in 2018 after graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in Neuroscience. She started on the Project Recruitment Team then worked her way into becoming the Marketing Manager for all of Genesis.

"My favorite thing about being the Marketing Manager at Genesis is helping my fellow coworkers change the lives of others. Being able to help them achieve their goals through my efforts, whether it is making marketing presentations, or coming up with new ways to get our branding out there, it's amazing to be that support in the background and allow them and the company continue to grow."
