We are looking for a Professional Civil Engineer with a specialization in Water Treatment to join their growing team.
Title: Civil Professional Engineer – Treatment
Location: Frisco, TX
Overview: The Civil Professional Engineer – Water Treatment will manage wastewater treatment design projects in a growing sector of the client’s industries. This position will cover the Frisco, TX region with the potential of spreading into other areas including New Mexico and Oklahoma. This is a full time direct hire role with full comprehensive benefits located in Frisco, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering efforts from design through construction on a variety of civil engineering treatment projects.
- Conduct site visits and assessments.
- Participate in meetings with clients to understand their project needs and preferences.
- Develop design concepts and proposals, creating detailed drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and other consultants.
- Present designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Explore new design concepts, incorporating emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Professional engineer registration in TX with ability to get in NM & OK.
- At least 4+ years of experience in civil design - Water and Wastewater Treatment design preferred.
- Experience with software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
- Detailed understanding of engineering project management methods with the ability to plan a project start to finish, taking into account time, cost and resources.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with non-Engineer decision makers and be able to communicate plans.
